Introduction and history Social Determinants of Health (SDH) Research Center of Guilan University of Medical Sciences began in 2010 in attention to importance of targeted research and in order to discover scientific truths and its benefit in solving the health and therapeutic problems of Guilan province. This center officially started in March 2013 with completion of the establishing members’ files and receiving principle agreement from Research Council of Research and Technology.
